On Saturday Sept 17, I facilitated a small project for Calgary Family Services' Organizational Day: the building of a 'Cardboard Community'. The concept originated from the Telus World of Science's 'Cardboard Forest', with the idea of group collaboration in the building of an installation artwork that represents a certain collective vision.
Putting it together was pretty easy... the hardest part was collecting the tons of cardboard (I had twice as much as I needed - two trips to Staples' stock room were all that was required) The final product was a success and a creative day was had by all.
